Mirror Head Projection

Mirror head projection works by placing a motorized rotating mirror in front of the projector lens, redirecting the projected light in any desired direction. A narrow-beam tele-zoom lens is used to keep the image a consistent size and brightness over long distances. Mirror head projection can cover large wall surfaces and entire spaces, moving video content across building facades, exhibition booth walls, event venue ceilings, floors, or even dinner table surfaces.
Mirror head projection is designed to create surprise and memorable experiences in any space. The success of a project depends heavily on the creativity of the content producer and the strength of the underlying idea. It is straightforward to program a company logo to fly across the walls of a venue, but a far more memorable result comes from first scripting a story that takes the unique features and objects of the space into account, then having a skilled video producer create an animation to match. Before the event, an AV technician installs the mirror head projectors and programs the mirror movement paths.
